The Dissector - "I've got a bad feeling about this..."

In fact: Oils is Oils

July 14th 2008 14:36
Who wants to read something quick yet funny and educational all at the same time?

I read this in the Sydney Sun Herald the other morning. Now, for anyone who is a keen dieter, who has to lose a few pounds, you should really pay attention.

Are you a shopper? Buy groceries and stuff? Then read on and you may be enlightened.

Am I trying to blow out this ‘bit’ to make it longer than it needs to be, just so I can feel like I’ve actually written a blog rather than simply regurgitating stuff from a newspaper? You bet.

So here it goes. The best bit out of the whole weekend collection of newspapers…

Did you know…?

The ‘light’ as in ‘Light Olive Oil’ actually refers to the colour and not the fat content?

As opposed to what the old television ad used to say - oils IS oils I’m afraid. You can’t make oil any less fatty, or, oily. They have simply lightened the colour of it, and are therefore able to call it “Light Olive Oil.”

Hahahaha.

I thought that was amusing.

Ps – While on the subject, Regurgitator are playing at Annandale in a couple of weeks. One Aussie band I need to pay my dues to.

Stay alert, not alarmed, and

"McTangle" in McLife

McTangle
Interesting McTangle

Hmm..such a complicated cobweb they've spun in this show..
In the end, it might seem a lot like a typical soap opera- there's conflict everywhere & everybody's doing it with everybody else..heh..

I could have add the multiple one-night-stands that Meredith had, but it just makes the whole thing messy..(Literally, in this case)..
That "habit" of hers did make her life a mess especially when one of the guy he slept with "encountered" a problem with that part of his male's anatomy and ended up coming to the hospital..*blushing-flustered-meredith*
It was funny though, the way that "problem" not wanting to go away even after administration of std medical treatment..
Turned out that he had some kinda tumour pressing on his nerve (ok, med ppl-if there's any-which nerve is it??)-and guess who he had to see for consult?..you got it, none other than MCDreamy himself!..How McIronic!!

p/sk2, I'm not gonna add the prefix "Mc" to even a single word after this!..if not, someone might, like O' Malley put it-McVomit!..LOL

Lies, Damn Lies..Sweet Lil Lies

Meredith: As doctors we’re trained to be skeptical because our patients lie to us all the time. The rule is every patient is a liar until proven honest.

Well, I don't know.If that's really part of my training, then I guess I haven't reached that level yet[ Click here to read more ]

From Princeton to Seattle

Yup, this blog is not all about House..I'm writing about Grey's Anatomy as well..(and maybe even a bit about Scrubs and E.R., when I feel like it)
Anyway, when I was first introduced to Grey's Anatomy, I was kinda skeptical..Quoting one of the real surgical intern I've got the chance to learn from, "That show is all about people sleeping with their bosses."..LOL
Well, maybe. But then again, maybe not
